100% GoldFlex® to make a super-light, and super-thin vest that is as comfortable as our standard aramid vest and even more concealable. Unlike many other brands, NOT a blend of GoldFlex® and other materials, but 100% GoldFlex® for exceptional lightness, thinness and concealability. GoldFlex even provides slightly better blunt trauma performance than aramid Kevlar / Twaron. GoldFlex has another advantage in being intrinsically waterproof and positively buoyant (Aramid Kevlar / Twaron is neutrally buoyant).

100% GoldFlex Construction -

Unlike others, we don't use any plastic stiffeners to make a cheaper vest that looks a little lighter on paper, but feels stiff and bulky on your body.

Perimeter Stitching to Maximize Protection -

Besides extra coverage, our GoldFlex vests are stitched around the perimeter, to better stop shots close to the edge of the vest. The NIJ standard testing does not cover shots closer than 3" (8 cm.) to the edge of the vest. Take 2" off all around the edge of a vest, and see how little coverage is left!

One of our perimeter stitched Level III-A ballistic panels stopped a 9mm sub-machine-gun round in combat in the Balkans, just 1" (3 cm). from the edge of the vest (one of three bullets stopped by that panel!).

Product Specifications:

Level III-A armor provides the highest blunt trauma protection rating in soft body armor. This armor will offer excellent protect against 9mm Full Metal Jacketed Lead Round Nose bullets (124 grain) fired from an SMG at a velocity of 1400 fps, and can be effective up to .44 Magnum Lead Semi-Wadcutter (240 grain) at a velocity of 1,430 FPS. This armor is also effective against all threats mentioned in Level I, Level II-A, and Level II. This armor is the best for very high-risk situations to cover even uncommon or unusual threats. Level III-A armor minimizes blunt trauma injury to allow more effective return fire. This armor is reccomended for those who are commonly put into situations where pistol and even Sub Machine Gun fire is an expected threat.
